* Coronation Insurance Plc provided an update on its proposed scheme of arrangement with the holders of its fully paid ordinary shares, following the resolution of pending matters that had previously stalled its review by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
* The Company submitted its formal approval application to the SEC on October 16, 2026, and the Core Shareholders (Coronation Capital (Mauritius) Limited and related parties) have confirmed their intention to proceed.
* Subject to required regulatory approvals, the consideration price payable under the Scheme will be the highest trading price recorded for the Company’s shares on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) during the six months preceding the date of the notification.
* The remaining steps to implement the scheme include obtaining formal SEC approval, Federal High Court sanction, Corporate Affairs Commission filings, paying the minority shareholders, and delisting the company's shares from the NGX.
