The naira appreciated slightly against the United States dollar on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, trading at N1,330.4737 at the Central Bank of Nigeria official foreign exchange window. It closed at N1,331.0000 per dollar.
At the parallel market, black market buying and selling rates stood at N1,375 to N1,385. The buying rate remained unchanged, while the selling rate increased by N3 compared with Monday, September 28, 2026.

Data from the CBN official platform showed the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market rate of N1,330.4737 per dollar. The currency had traded at an NFEM rate of N1,331.3292 on September 28, 2026. It appreciated slightly by at least N0.86 after trading activities on Tuesday.
