Naira loses N9 against dollar at official FX market

The naira depreciated against the US dollar at the Central Bank of Nigeria official foreign exchange window on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. It traded at N1,380.0775 per dollar.

Data from the CBN platform shows the naira closed at N1,389.0000 per dollar at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market. This represents a drop of at least N9.44 from Tuesday's rate of N1,370.6373.

At the parallel market, rates held steady. AbokiFX reports the black market buying rate at N1,390 and selling rate at N1,395 per dollar, unchanged from the previous day.
