Naira falls against dollar at official FX market

The Nigerian naira depreciated against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria shows the naira traded at N1,370.6373 per dollar at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market. It closed at N1,373.0000 per dollar.

This marks a slight drop of N1.53 from Monday's rate of N1,369.1064.

At the parallel market, the buying rate held steady but the selling rate fell by N5 compared to Monday.

AbokiFX data shows the black market rate on Tuesday was N1,390 for buying and N1,395 for selling.
