The naira depreciated against the United States (US) dollar on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, trading at N1,329.1485 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window.
Data on the CBN official platform showed the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,329.1458 per dollar and closed at N1,329.5000 per dollar.

The NFEM rate was N1,326.3014 on September 14, 2026. The naira depreciated by at least N2.85 after trading activities on Tuesday.
Parallel Market
At the parallel market, the buying rate remained the same, while the selling rate decreased by N5 compared with the previous trading rate on Monday, September 14, 2026.
According to AbokiFX, the naira to dollar exchange rate at the black market on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, was N1,380 and N1,388 per dollar for buying and selling rates, respectively.
