Dimon: Hyperscaler AI Spending Could Reach $1 Trillion Next Year

By

Jamie Dimon says artificial intelligence spending across hyperscaler companies could hit $1 trillion next year. That would be up from about $700 billion this year.

The AI spending boom is showing little sign of slowing, with investment across the hyperscaler ecosystem potentially reaching $1 trillion next year, according to the JPMorgan Chase chief.

Inflation caution

Dimon remains cautious on inflation. He said inflation could persist or even rise.

US-China trade

Ahead of the Trump-Xi summit, Dimon said the United States and China should “fully engage” on trade, AI and security.

Spending outlook

The projected figure points to the scale of capital still moving into AI infrastructure. Dimon’s comments come as the global AI race continues to shape investment plans and policy discussions between major economies.
