Naira falls against dollar at official FX market

The Nigerian naira has depreciated against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange window. It traded at N1,380.9329 per dollar on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria shows the naira closed at N1,384.0000 per dollar at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market. This is a slight drop of at least N0.825 from the previous day's rate of N1,380.1079.

At the black market, the naira saw mixed movements. The buying rate appreciated by N1 while the selling rate appreciated by N5 compared to Thursday, June 25, 2026.

According to AbokiFX, the parallel market rates on Friday stood at N1,393 for buying and N1,400 for selling per dollar.
