MTN Nigeria opens 2027 Global Graduate Development Programme

MTN Nigeria has opened applications for its 2027 Global Graduate Development Programme. The programme gives young Nigerian graduates a chance to start careers with the telecoms company across Africa and the Middle East.

Applications close on November 6, 2026. The programme is themed “The Future Is Yours To Create”. It combines professional training through the MTN Academy with practical workplace experience, employment, mentorship and coaching.

Who can apply

Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Upper Division, or 2:1, or an HND with Upper Credit. They must have graduated in 2024 or later. They must have completed NYSC by September 2026 and have a valid discharge certificate. They must be fluent in English and hold a valid international passport.

Candidates must also show strong analytical, numerical, research, communication and relationship-building skills. Other desirable competencies include digital marketing, business development, technology security, teamwork and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

What participants get

Successful candidates will be employed and placed in roles aligned with MTN’s business operations. They will gain experience through job placements, rotations, mentoring and coaching. The MTN Academy has learning centres across Southern, Northern and Western Africa.

The programme also offers mentorship and professional coaching, practical workplace training and job rotations, exposure to experienced professionals and senior executives, international exchange and secondment opportunities, and accelerated career development. MTN says the Global Graduate Programme gives graduates hands-on experience in the technology and telecommunications industry across Africa and the Middle East.
