Nigerian Creator Payout Claim

In a related creator earnings discussion, Nigerian comedian Sirbalo claimed that a Facebook video with 2.1 billion views earned him more than $4 million. His account of Facebook’s former payouts divided online audiences. Some questioned the figures, while others cited similar creator earnings.

For Nigerian creators and businesses, the Forbes list points to a clear trend. Revenue from social media alone is rarely enough at the top. The biggest creators build products, media properties, investments and brand partnerships around their audiences.
