DStv, GOtv to roll out refreshed packages as M-Net Movies, SuperSport Kick-Off, France 24 join line-up

MultiChoice will introduce refreshed DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria, with new channel changes set to begin on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The company said the move will give subscribers more viewing options and greater flexibility in how they select entertainment content.
Under the plan, three M-Net Movies channels, M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars and M-Net Legends, will replace the previous four movie channels. SuperSport Kick-Off and France 24 will also join the DStv line-up, adding football and international news.
New movie channels take effect September 17
MultiChoice said subscribers will begin receiving the three refreshed M-Net Movies channels from Thursday, September 17, 2026. The channels replace the previous four-channel movie offering as part of a restructuring designed to provide more differentiated programming.
The revised movie line-up will feature a mix of newer releases, blockbuster productions, classic titles and locally produced films across various genres. MultiChoice said the changes are intended to reduce programme repetition and make it easier for viewers to find movies.
SuperSport Kick-Off, France 24 join DStv
Alongside the movie channel changes, SuperSport Kick-Off and France 24 are joining the DStv line-up. SuperSport Kick-Off will feature football programming. France 24 will provide international news coverage, analysis and reporting on African and global current affairs.
MultiChoice described the additions and package changes as part of efforts to expand content choices and provide a simpler entertainment experience for customers across Africa.
