Skyewise Foundation opens ₦15m business grant for Nigerian entrepreneurs
By Aboki Forex —
The Skyewise Foundation has opened applications for its ₦15 million Business Grant. The money is for Nigerian entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners and individuals with viable ideas.
The grant is part of the Foundation’s MTC 6.0 programme. It is designed to help people at different stages of their business journey, from launching a new idea to expanding an existing venture.
What the grant offers
The total grant pool is ₦15 million. That amount is shared among successful applicants, not awarded as ₦15 million to each person.
Successful applicants can use the funding to launch a business, strengthen an existing venture, buy necessary resources or support expansion. The terms of the programme will determine how the funds are applied.
Unlike many business funding schemes, the Skyewise Foundation grant does not require applicants to already run an established business. This opens the door for people who only have a business idea at this stage.
Who can apply
Eligible applicants include individuals with promising business ideas, entrepreneurs seeking to scale existing ventures and people looking to start a trade or new enterprise.
Applicants must show that their ideas or businesses have potential for growth, sustainability and meaningful impact. The Foundation says the initiative is meant to help promising entrepreneurs move from ideas to implementation, while giving existing businesses the resources to reach the next stage.
The grant could be a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs who struggle to access capital to move their businesses forward.
How to apply
Interested applicants should submit their applications through the official Skyewise Foundation Business Grant Application Form.
Prospective beneficiaries are advised to review the requirements carefully and provide accurate information. The application form contains the current closing date and other submission requirements.
Related support for young founders
Separately, the Federal Ministry of Youth Development has opened applications for the NiYA × Cascador Founders Programme. This is a four-week initiative for young Nigerian entrepreneurs who want to become investment-ready.
The programme is implemented in partnership with Cascador and Sapphital. It will select 20 young founders for training in business development, investment readiness, pitch preparation and mentorship.
For Nigerian businesses, the Skyewise grant adds to a growing list of targeted funding windows. But with a combined pool, the impact will depend on how the Foundation splits the ₦15 million among selected winners.
