Dangote plans new industrial free trade zone in Ondo State

By

Aliko Dangote has announced plans to build a large industrial and free trade zone in Olokola, Ondo State. The project aims to attract investors and boost manufacturing in Nigeria.

The zone will provide its own power, water, gas, and logistics infrastructure. Dangote said this will help businesses operate without the usual challenges of poor utilities and supply chain delays.

He made the disclosure during a visit to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Akure. The governor welcomed the investment, saying it will create jobs, drive industrial growth, and strengthen the state's economy.

Dangote described the project as a transformative development that will allow investors to start operations immediately. He noted that the facility will be far more efficient than existing industrial areas in the country.
