FirstBank opens 2026 graduate trainee programme for seven African markets

By

FirstBank has started accepting applications for its 2026 Pan-African Graduate Trainee Programme. The scheme targets young graduates who want to build careers across multiple African countries.

Successful candidates will work in seven markets: Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Senegal.

The programme aims to develop future banking leaders. It focuses on innovation, mobility, and leadership across the bank's African operations. It also feeds into FirstBank's succession planning to create a pipeline of future managers.

Applicants must meet specific academic qualifications, age limits, and NYSC completion requirements. FirstBank says it wants high-potential graduates who can learn fast and lead across the continent.
